Innovative new RED BAG

Petrol has just come out with a great new camera bag for the RED One.

Has a cool accessory tray thats removable if you wanna transport the camera with viewfinder attached. Plenty of customized dividers as any camera bag should have, wheels to tote it around airports, and constructed with ballistic nylon. I like this bag.

Lady Gaga's bizarre new video

This video, directed by Francis Lawrence, is well..uh..ermm.. yea i don't know really what to make of it. I will say this: It includes a shot of a hairless cat and thats where it crosses the line for me. Sleeping in bed next to burnt corpse with spark shooting out of her tits....thats just dandy.

Cremaster anyone?

7D Short

This short is a great example of how intimate and personal video journalism can be with this new crop of DSLRs and at the same time yield greater results not only in content, but visual quality.

HP tilt shift ad

The HP "Create Amazing" campaign is a global tilt shift campaign envisioned by McGarryBowen for HP shot, in Shanghai, New York, Santorini, London & Istanbul. The sets were shot in L.A. This cut also includes some of my existing footage from Rome & Sydney.

I love the perspectives these crews got in each of their locations, its as if they had a hot air balloon, for a bird's eye view, wherever they went!

Baraka Bluray

Film Critic Roger Ebert recently reviewed a copy of the upcoming Blu-ray release of 'Baraka', which is due to hit store shelves on October 28th. Calling it "the finest video disc I have ever viewed or ever imagined," the famous critic concluded that "Baraka by itself is sufficient reason to acquire a Blu-ray player."

Soccer Hero

I dunno whats crazier, the fact that people created a giant wall-sized control pad and video screen or that these kids can kick soccer balls so well.
